Jason was a loving father and chose to leave a legacy of empowerment to his two beautiful children. He met is soul mate and future wife Charity while attending Crescent Heights High School and they went on to have two amazing children. Jason and Charity were married July 19, 1997 in Calgary, Alberta. They moved to Strathmore in May of 2007 and made the town their home. Jason was working at Rattray Reclamation when he was diagnosed with his illness. Jason loved his job and the people he worked with. Jason also managed the paper carriers at the Strathmore Standard for a time and was an integral part of the team at the newspaper. He has touched many lives and his will be honored and celebrated by all those who were lucky enough to have known him. A very warm thank you goes out to Dr. Sader and the nursing staff at the Strathmore Hospital who took such excellent care of Jason while he was there. A celebration of Jason’s life will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Hope Community Covenant Church (Strathmore) at 3:00 p.m. A reception for close family and friends follows immediately at Roadhouse Restaurant and Saloon (Suite K-510, Hwy 1, Strathmore).
