Obituary of Wilbert David BECHTOLD

BECHTOLD, Wilbert “Will” David May 25, 1942 – May 12, 2014 Wilbert Bechtold, born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Strathmore Hospital at the age of 71 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Will is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Anita; his son Blair Bechtold of Vancouver, British Columbia; his daughter Chelsea (Dan) Yule of Strathmore, Alberta; and his much loved granddaughter Bailey of Strathmore, Alberta. Will is also survived by two brothers Chris (Shirly) Bechtold of Strathmore, Alberta, and Clarence (Terry) Bechtold of Medicine Hat, Alberta. Will and Anita moved to Calgary from Medicine Hat in 1965. They built their home on Chestermere Lake, where they remained for 30 years. They moved to Strathmore in 2007. Will worked with many gas plants in Alberta as a pressure welder. He will be missed by all who knew him.
