Obituary of Peter David Leonard GALLANT

GALLANT, Leonard Leonard Gallant (Len), age 74, of Strathmore Alberta, passed away on May 4, 2014. Len was born in Hunter River, PEI on October 14, 1939. Len was married to Brenda Gallant on June 17, 1972; they were married 41 years. He worked in the oilfield in heavy hauling for over 50 years. He loved every minute of it and made friends every step of the way. Len is survived by his wife Brenda; children Deborah (Jim), Sean, Stacy (Leah), daughter in law Kathy; grandchildren Christopher, Tiffany (Dave), Robyn (Evan), Nathan, Ethan, Hanna, Riley; and great grandchildren Colin, Jewel, Ashton and Sean. He also leaves his brothers Jim and Floyd; his sisters Stella (Bill), Grace, Alice; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Len is preceded in death by his mother Emmeline, father Charles, sister Etta, brothers Colin, and Donald, and daughter Donna. The family of Len Gallant wishes to thank all of the support we have received with special thanks to Dr. Manocha. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Hope Community Covenant Church (Strathmore) at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the charity of your choice.
