Obituary of Warren Wilfred SHAW

SHAW, Warren Wilfred May 8, 1925 – February 20, 2014 Warren passed away peacefully in his favourite recliner while having his afternoon nap in his suite at Sagewood Care Centre on February 20. Warren was predeceased by wife Jean; son Glenn; grandson Chris; parents Lester Warren Shaw and Lena Winnifred Shaw; and his brother Roland Shaw. Warren is survived by his brother Ralph Shaw; sister Alice Clarke; sons Warren(Marie) Shaw, Lester (Lynn) Shaw, and Grant (Karen) Shaw; daughter Christine(George) Hart; six grandchildren, Mathew, Heather, Nicholas , Andrew, Curtis, and Jesse; and many nephews and nieces. Warren was born in Cold Lake, Alberta in 1925 and was an avid outdoors man and outspoken advocate for safety in the oil business for Imperial Oil and later Scimitar Oil in Dubai. He will be buried with his loving wife of 40 years, Jean, whom he deeply missed. At the family’s request there will be no funeral service.
