Obituary of Barbara VAN BOSTELEN

VAN BOSTELEN, Barbara Beloved wife, mother and friend, Barbara Van Bostelen passed away peacefully October 12, 2013. Barbara was born September 21, 1942 in Port Of Spain, Trinidad. She immigrated to Canada in 1975 and met her future husband Martin Van Bostelen, whom she married October 15, 1976. They moved to Calgary in 1977 and settled in Strathmore, Alberta in 1983, where they raised their two children. Barbara is predeceased by her father Indirjit Beharrysingh, mother Joodenia Beharrysingh and brother Rashid “Rajan” Khan. She is survived by her husband Martin, son Yudhisthir (Kim), daughter Alice (Chris), brothers Shaffic and Raffic Khan, sister Antoinette “Toya” Ojeer and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the staff of the former Strathmore Hospital Long Term Care Unit for their excellent care of Barbara over the last three years.
