Obituary of Gordon Robert MOWAT

MOWAT, Gordon Robert It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Mowat. Gordon passed away peacefully at his home on June 30, 2017 at the age of 77. He was born in Calgary to parents Robert and Margaret. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Margaret, along with his three daughters Heather (Dominic) , Lisa (Steve) and Cara (Kurt). His greatest treasures are the grandchildren he leaves behind Kaitlynn & Riata (Lisa), Angie and Domenic (Heather) and Kennedy and Kaia (Cara). Gordon enjoyed being outside, spending time with his family and friends and the odd glass of wine. His community of friends, of which there are too many to mention, were of great importance to him. A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Indus Community Hall (225155A Rg. Rd. 281A).
