Obituary of Travis Richard WALKER

WALKER, Travis Richard October 11, 1975 – April 4, 2013 After a long and courageous fight with repeated health issues, Travis succumbed to cancer and passed away peacefully at home with his mom and their dog, Shamus, by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Lynn; his sister Taya; his father Rick; as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins, and his many friends. Travis was an outdoor enthusiast who lived for hunting and fishing. His motto was “Ride it til the wheels fall off”, which he most certainly did. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Hope Community Covenant Church (245 Brent Blvd, Strathmore) at 2:00 p.m. A huge thank you goes out to the Strathmore Home Care and Rural Palliative Care teams, especially Shelley and Leanne.
