Obituary of Brenda Doreen FLOWERS

FLOWERS, Brenda Doreen (nee Smith) April 15, 1956 – January 11, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Flowers. Brenda made many friends throughout her life and was loved by all. Brenda worked for 23 years at the Strathmore Co-op, was involved with the Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary, and was a volunteer and President of the Wheatland County Food Bank. Brenda was always a hard worker with a quirky sense of humour. The most important thing in her life was always her family. Brenda had a special gift and passion for taking care of people, especially the young and elderly. She will be sadly missed by many. Heaven truly has another angel. Brenda is survived by her loving husband John of 33 years, son Craig, and daughter Amber. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Doug (Sandy), Barb (Larry), Edwin and Evelyn, in addition to many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Doreen Smith, sister Carol, brothers Harvey and Marvin, and nephew Steven. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 17, 2013 at the Strathmore United Church at 2:00pm. Interment Strathmore Cemetery.
