Obituary of Donald Stuart SEAMANS

SEAMANS, Donald Stuart January 12, 1932 – December 30, 2012 Donnie Seamans passed away peacefully in Strathmore on December 30, 2012. Donnie is survived by his wife of sixty years, Ruth; their three children, Clay (Donna) Seamans, Garth Seamans, and Lisa (Paul) Kelly; four grandsons Duncan, Dean, Drew and Liam; and his twin brother Ronald Seamans. He was predeceased by his sister Alice, and brothers Howard and Douglas. Donnie was a hardworking, successful grain farmer and rancher in the Dalemead and Carseland area. He will be remembered for his years of service to the Carseland community as a member of the Lions Club. A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Wheatland Funeral Home (Strathmore) from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Carseland Community Hall at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice.
