Obituary of Harriet Lucille Martin

 It is with great sadness that the family of Lucille Martin announces her passing on March 30, 2018 in her 88th year. She was born March 9, 1930 in Sibbald, Alberta and at different stages of her life also called Los Angeles, Calgary, Edmonton, Irricana, and Strathmore home. Even after having spent most of her life in larger centers, Lucille was always a small town and farm person at heart. She leaves behind her brother, Walter; two sons, Rick (Donna) and Larry (Grace); her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; son-in-law, John Mainland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Lucille was predeceased by her parents, Bert and Irene Boston; husband, Garny; and daughter, Wendy Mainland. Lucille loved nothing more than spending quality time with her family and friends. All are invited to join in a celebration of Lucille’s life on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm at DayBreak Community Church, 2104 Yankee Valley Boulevard SW, Airdrie, Alberta.
