Obituary of Edward E. WEISSE

WEISSE, Edward May 28, 1941 – October 26, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Weisse. Ed is survived by his loving wife Susan; sisters Lillian (Floyd) Geier, Ginny Weisse (Lee Bruch), Katherine Weisse (Terry Beaton); brothers Gerhart Weisse, Fred (Jean) Weisse; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, as well as great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. Ed was predeceased by his father Fred Sr., mother Bertha, and oldest brother Richard. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. David Piesas and Dr. Ward Fanning as well as the health care providers in Strathmore, Drumheller and the Tom Baker Cancer Clinic. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Lord of All Lutheran Church (Strathmore) at 1:00 p.m. If so desired, donations can be made directly to the Veterans Food Bank (1, 4539- 6 St. N.E., Calgary, T2E 3Z6).
