Obituary of Linda SCOTT

SCOTT, Linda Linda Scott (nee Clennell) passed away peacefully on August 17, 2012 at the Strathmore Hospital Extended Care. She was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on August 21, 1944. She spent the next several years on the move throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta finally ending up in Strathmore. Linda was predeceased by her first husband Russell Hoffman. She is survived by her loving husband Dean Scott; her children, Travis Hoffman and Raelynn Hoffman (Shane Peet); Dean’s children, Charlene Logan (Duane Logan) and their son Adam, and Leland Scott (Linda Haugh). She is also survived by her sisters Dianne Estey and Joanne Wishart and her brother Bradley Clennell (Celia). Linda will be sadly missed by all of her friends and family. Linda was a stay at home Mom when the kids were young. Later in life she went to work selling jewellery and high end clothing. She worked retail for 15 years. She loved her dog, Taz and her cat, Cat. One of Linda’s best qualities was her sense of humour and her one-liners. A memorial will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Strathmore Royal Canadian Legion Hall at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Wheatland County Food Bank (c/o Box 2156, Strathmore, Ab.
