Obituary of Jean Ainsley NELSON

NELSON, Jean Ainsley Jean passed away peacefully at the Strathmore Hospital on June 13, 2012 at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her husband Forrest in 1964, son Timothy in 1976, and son-in-law Kenneth in 2012. Jean is survived by her two daughters Roberta, of Black Diamond, and Kathy (Randy), of Grande Prairie; six grandchildren Ken, Cory (Nancy), Jeff (Laurie), Jessica (Darren), Schuyler (Ang), and Melissa (Derek); and two great grandchildren Isiah and Haven. Jean was cared for in the past several years by her special friend Robin Wenzel. Sincere gratitude is given by the family to all who visited and cared for Jean over the past few months. Jean loved gardening, her walks, reading, and her family. She truly was “our hero”. At Jean’s request no funeral was held.
