Obituary of Rosemarie STENDER

STENDER, Rosemarie August 17, 1947 – April 3, 2012 It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Rosemarie (Mickey) Stender at the age of 64. She is survived by her husband Earl; sons Jeffery (Ginette) and Andrew (Christina); grandsons Grayson, Aubrey, Kelton and Easton; and brother Robert Hamper. Since moving to Strathmore in 1980, she was active in the community with being both a sports wife and hockey/baseball mom. She was an extremely proud member of AA with being 20 years sober. She enjoyed every minute with her grandchildren attending their various activities. She now rests in peace as her grandson Trey welcomes her to heaven. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Lord of All Lutheran Church, Strathmore at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made directly to the Strathmore & Wheatland Addictions Team (Box 2156, Strathmore, AB, T1P 1K5, c/o Wheatland FCSS).
