Obituary of Nelson Raposo

 It is in our sadness, after battling with cancer for six months, that we announce the passing of Nelson Raposo. He leaves behind his parents, Joao and Marie; brother Alberto; his wife of 29 years and love of his life, Tami; daughter Jessica; son Tyler (Breah); unborn granddaughter due in June 2018; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and godchildren; and many friends. Nelson lived life to its fullest with endless hobbies. He had a heart of gold and would go out of his way to help anyone. Every year, Nelson looked forward to traveling with his friends and family and his favorite spot was at the lake in summer, when he wasn’t traveling. Nelson worked at City Wide Towing for 13 years and, most recently, at CR Techniques for 12 years. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Hope Community Covenant Church (245 Brent Blvd., Strathmore) at 1:00 p.m.
