Obituary of Dolores Helen LARSEN

LARSEN, (Dolores) Helen LARSEN, (Dolores) Helen July 13, 1935 – May 18, 2017 After a short illness, Helen passed away at the South Health Campus in Calgary surrounded by her family. Helen was very involved in the Anglican Church and her community throughout her long life. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family and friends. She enjoyed farm life with her late husband, Knute, and children, Karen and Kevin. She took great pleasure in spending time with her granddaughter, Samantha, and her honorary grandchildren, Maysa, Hadley and Oaklyn Schiffner. Helen filled her life with baking, sewing, reading, quilting and watercolour painting. She will be remembered for her lively spirit, caring nature and generous heart. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Lord of All Lutheran Church, Strathmore at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you send a donation to your charity of choice in her memory.
