SMITH, Marion Walker (Scottie Mae) October 4, 1922 – September 4, 2011 The family wishes to announce the passing of Mae following a brief but courageous battle with cancer on September 4, 2011. She is survived by her loving daughters: Maureen (Bill), Shirley (Rick), and Sandy; son Allan (Nancy); nineteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren. Mae was predeceased by her husband Gordon, son Barry, daughter Donna, two brothers and one sister. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Wheatland Funeral Chapel, Strathmore at 1:00 p.m. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at both the Wheatland Lodge and Strathmore Hospital for the excellent care extended to mom and our families.
