Obituary of Joyce Gwendolyn KALLOS

KALLOS, Joyce Gwendolyn KALLOS, Joyce Gwendolyn Joyce passed away peacefully on August 18, 2011 at the Strathmore Hospital after her courageous battle with COPD. She was born on February 4, 1936 in Sudbury, Ontario to Florence and William Smith. Joyce is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Debbie Chapton of Strathmore, AB; sister Lois Killah of Sudbury, ON; brother David (Renelle) Smith of Barrie, ON; and grandchildren Chad Carr currently in Hong Kong, and Katrina Chapton of Strathmore, AB. Joyce was predeceased by her parents; her son Rickey; and brothers Bill, Ray, Don, and Blain. Joyce was a generous person who will always be remembered for her love of family, gardening, and her appreciation of nature. Her love of life and positive attitude inspired us all and she will be greatly missed.
