Obituary of James Arnold Cowan

COWAN, James Arnold October 14, 1946 – February 15, 2018 James Cowan passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He will always be lovingly remembered by his wife Debra, his children; Aaron (Tracy) Cowan, Michelle (David) Chiu, Travis Cowan, Teagan Cowan, grandchildren Rebecca and Sarah Cowan, Brandon, Alyssa, Anika Chiu, and his sister Sylvia Garrett (Norm Rousseau). He will be dearly missed by a large extended family: Wayne and Donna Rudderham, Clinton (Colleen) Rudderham, Kirby (Corky) Rudderham, Michelle Boyko, Patty Howlett, Judy (Jim) Dell, Bobbie (Bob) Martin, Sheila (Roger) Chalmers and many nieces and nephews. With a special thanks to his niece April Garrett for her support throughout his illness. Jim enjoyed life and family came first. He loved holidaying with Debbie, he shared an interest for watching Stampeder football with Travis, and a love of Oilers’ hockey with Aaron. He enjoyed wandering drives and always took in the Calgary Stampede.
