Obituary of Arlene RIEGER

RIEGER, Arlene September 29, 1949 – June 3, 2011 Arlene leaves to grieve her husband of 43 years Archie; her wonderful daughter and son-in-law Collette and Zach and her precious children Bailee and Marly. Mom was truly proud of all of them! She also leaves her parents Alice and Albert Becker and so many special relatives and friends that were a constant joy and comfort to her. Thanks to Brian and Dot, Merv and Connie, Glen and Jan, Grampa Rieger and to so many very special nieces and nephews: Craig and Amanda, Caylee, Austin, Shelby, Carmen and Daryl and children Owen and Kyle, Louise, Kade and Deklin, and Garry and Rana and children Abigail and Owen. Mom so much appreciated everyone who brought laughter when we didn’t think we could laugh! Also, Mom leaves her best and treasured friend of 45 years Elaine Collyer, her special cousin Marlene Dunn, and special friend Pastor Dawn. A huge highlight of her life was a cruise to Alaska in August of 2007 which Collette and Zach gave their mom and dad for their 40th anniversary! They had a great time! Besides the relatives, Mom leaves behind so many caring, wonderful friends. Friends were an extremely important part of her life and she valued and cared for each one of them!
