Obituary of Geraldine Rose BRANDT

BRANDT, Geraldine Rose Geraldine Rose Brandt (nee Ratchford) passed away peacefully with her husband Charles, friend Melanie, and her bishop at her side in the early morning hours of November 10, 2017. Devoted sister, mother, wife, and friend, unwavering in her faith, a dedicated member of the LDS church and a Rebekah for many years, she was happiest when she could be of service to others. She loved to laugh. She was a fighter and a fierce defender of the people she loved, and who loved her. And there were many. She faced adversity throughout her life and showed how strong and courageous she was by landing back onto her feet constantly moving forward and never letting anything get her down. Even to her death she fought to the end. She always managed to find joy and keep her faith through everything. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles; her four children, Charisma, Robert, Gregory and Krystel; her seven grandchildren, Severen, Caleb, Anthony, Illora, Gavin, Lucy and Asher; as well as her seven brothers and sisters, her father, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Strathmore Acute care for their dedication while Geraldine stayed with them. Your kindness and compassion are a tribute to your profession. A service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the LDS Chapel, 60 Maplewood Drive, Strathmore Alberta.
