Obituary of Gilbert Herbert SANDERSON

SANDERSON, Gilbert On Friday November 3, 2017, Mr. Gil Sanderson resident of Strathmore passed away peacefully at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his wife, Etta; five children, Cecilia (Ronnie) of Strathmore, Belinda (Shane) of Calgary, Kevin (Joy) of Strathmore, Darcy of Vancouver, Rodney (Shauna) of Strathmore; eight grandchildren, Madison, Rylan, Jesse, Reid, Charly, Lucas and Leah, Cooper; great grandson, Joshua; sister, Luverne of Rouleau, Saskatchewan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends. Gil was predeceased by his parents, John and Mae Sanderson; sister, Karen; and brother-in-law, Ken. A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 230 – 2nd Avenue in Strathmore on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
