Obituary of Dale Marvin Peterson

Dale was born August 13, 1954 in Calgary. He spent his childhood on the Peterson family farm near Langdon with his mom and dad, Louise and Marvin, and his brothers, Rob and Murray. He found good friends in Keith and Roger. Dale loved all of his time on the farm and continued many visits back these past years – riding his Harley whenever he could. Dale had a sense of humour that drew people to him. He was kind, sociable, and friends to many. He was also a talented musician – often jamming with his friends, playing his guitar. He loved all kinds of music and enjoyed playing and singing gospel with his good friends, Frank and Carol, and he was close with his pastor and good friend, Shafer Parker. Dale was great at Ham radio and would ham with his dad wherever he was. He worked many years as a transmission specialist. We will always remember Dale with compassion, love, and a smile. May God bless him and guide him on his journey and may his soul rest in eternal peace. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:30 am at the Hawkwood Baptist Church, 20 Hawkwood Drive NW, Calgary with Interment to follow at 2:00 pm at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 1605 100 St SE, Calgary.
