Obituary of David Campbell Wadsworth

David's boisterous laugh went quiet the morning of Monday, August 6^th, 2018. Born in New Brunswick, David's family moved to Boston, then on to Montreal where he would spend the majority of his years. Studying at Bishop's University then at McGill where he received his degree in law, David spent his years in the corporate world before leaving that to spend his time working and living in the golfing and skiing community at Owl's Head. He will be fondly remembered for his larger than life presence, his love of music and singing - woe to those seated next to him at church! - and his love of all those he touched throughout his 85 years.

He will be dearly missed by his two children, Christopher and Kate (Jason); sisters, Jean Bentley (Kenneth) and Peggy Parkes (Tom); two granddaughters, Lorelei and Rowyn Wadsworth as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and god-children.

Later in life, David moved out west to spend more time with his grandchildren and was lucky enough to meet Gwen Wilson with whom he shared so many laughs and love. David is now sure to be enjoying drinks and stories reuniting with old friends.

A small service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Lakeview United Church, 3023 - 63 Avenue SW in Calgary.
