Obituary of Norman Denis PICHÉ

PICHÉ, Norman Denis Norman Denis Piché was born March 30, 1936 in Cadillac, SK and passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2017 in Strathmore AB. Norm grew up in Gravelbourg, SK where he met and married Aline Nobert on April 22, 1957. Together they moved to Calgary where he founded Dominion Rig Welders. They decided to call Strathmore home officially in 1986. Norm started another welding company upon moving to Strathmore, Target Welding Ltd. He retired from welding in 1998. Norm is survived by his wife Aline Piché, their four children; Marlene vanHaren (Jared and Deanne), Terrie Tarnowski (Tom) (Brandin and Jayden), André Piché (Darlene) (Quentin) and Vincent Piché (Melissa) (Luba and Lexx) and his brother Julien Piché. He enjoyed spending much of his time at the casinos in Calgary where he made many friends. Norm loved farm life, gardening and making conversations, with the girls at the Credit Union mostly. He was a beloved husband, father and Pépère and he will be missed by many. Per Norm’s wishes, there will be no service.
