Obituary of Clinton Arthur Hussin

Clinton Arthur Hussin, 66, of Moscow Russia, passed away January 16, 2019 in Moscow after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. 

Funeral services were held in Moscow on January 18, 2019. Burial will be in the family plot near his home in Russia.

Clinton was born in Calgary Alberta November 28, 1952.  He went to Standard School and graduated in 1970. After graduating from SAIT, Clint proudly devoted his entire career to the oil patch. Starting with NOWSCO, then Fracmaster where he honed his technical skills and invented a foam fracking patent in 1978. Clinton negotiated no less than five joint venture agreements in Russia making Fracmaster the largest foreign oil producer at the time. He went on to start Valens Consulting doing many oilfield and construction including schools, hotels and recreation facilities. In 1996 he started Black Sea Energy his last project before retirement. 

Retirement saw Clint enjoy all his passions; his motorcycle, yacht, fishing and second home in Costa Rica. He shared all of his passions with his family taking his mom to the Maritimes on his bike as well as travelling all over the eastern seaboard and to Alaska. Many of his family members were treated to a yacht vacation in Cypress and the Greek islands where he kept his pride and joy “Time Out”. Family was always welcome in Costa Rica where he spent many happy times enjoying swimming and fishing.

Clinton is survived by his wife, Natalia; step sons, Max and Anton of Moscow; daughter, Chanel (Cynthia); grandson, Atticus and  granddaughter, Adrian both of Calgary; parents, Bill and Joyce Hussin of Strathmore; sister, Connie (Darrell) Larsen and brother-in-law, Jess Block of Rumsey and their families.
