Obituary of Colin David Stead

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Colin David Stead, born August 30, 1982, and passed suddenly on May 11, 2019. He is predeceased by his best friend, Granny Joan Reid; Granda Jon Reid; and Grandfather Allan Stead. He is survived by his devoted and loving partner of seven years, Kaila Derraugh; father Rodney Stead (Sherri); mother Terry Stead; brothers Gavin Stead (Jacqelyn) and Justin Stead (Kashmir); Grandmother Ethel Stead; uncle Gary Stead; aunt Caroll Kirkland (Bob), aunts Mandy Dunlop (Terry) and Gail Reid (Mike); uncle Jonathan Reid (Marla); and an abundance of cousins, nieces, and nephew. Colin deeply loved his family, especially spending time with his brothers and playing pool with his dad. He greatly treasured his time and special escapades with his mom. He loved fishing, riding his Harley, and driving his car. Colin was nonjudgmental and kind-hearted. We will miss his smile and bright blue eyes. May he rest peacefully in his Granny, Granda, and Grandpa’s arms.
