Obituary of Scott Thomas DeMott
Scott Thomas DeMott, 56, died Monday May 20, 2019. He was born November 18, 1962 in Bassano Alberta. Scott is pre-deceased by his parents: Eugene and Agnes. He is survived by his loving wife: Laura, and children Brett and Alecia, as well as his honorary son Danny. Siblings: Suzette, Calvin and Doug. He will be sadly missed by many in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
For those who knew Scott (Scotty) will remember a loving, generous, dedicated, supportive, passionate, and silly man. He had a warm smile and was known for giving the best bear hugs. He had a deep and powerful love for his fur family. Scotty always found solace by water, especially at his parent’s place on the Kootenay Lake. He was a devoted husband and very proud father. Scott loved his family and held them close to his heart. He will be deeply missed by all and forever in our hearts.
