Shannon Toll

Obituary of Shannon Gayle Toll

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our cherished Shannon Gayle Robusky Toll at the age of 51 on Wednesday June 19th, 2019. Shannon leaves behind her loving husband Craig, and her three beautiful children Alex, Kassi and Matthew. Shannon was the beloved daughter of Raymond and Patricia (Davies) Robusky and was an amazing sister to Allan (Sally) and treasured aunt to Lara, Rory and Ava Robusky. Shannon will also be deeply missed by Craig's family, her extended family on both sides, and her many friends.

Shannon was born and raised in Calgary, then proceeded to live in Regina and Ottawa. She went to college in North Bay and had many great experiences there. She returned to Calgary where she met the love of her life, Craig, and they settled in Strathmore to raise their beautiful family. She and Craig then built their dream home in Lyalta, which was their pride and joy. Shannon settled into a career as a registered pharmacy technician and was highly respected by those she worked with at Alberta Health Services.

Shannon had a big presence in the lives of her kids. She was number one Mom taking them to ringette, soccer and hockey, and she also generously donated her time to these activities. Shannon had a passion for music and seeing live acts with her girlfriends, especially in Vegas. Shannon possessed many creative talents including crafts and photography.

Shannon was so much to so many. We hope to fill the hole she left with memories of her big beautiful smile, laugh and her one-eyed selfies! Her legacy will continue on in her loving children.

A celebration of life will be held at Lord of All Lutheran Church, on Friday June 28th at 11 a.m. at 112 - Lakeside Blvd, Strathmore, Alberta. A reception will follow after. In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that donations are made in Shannon's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (#200, 119 14 St. NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 1Z6) or to the family. Please leave your condolences on this site. To all her co-workers and friends in the community, we thank you for all your tributes, and your donations of food.

Till we meet again Shannon, you will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
