Obituary of Perry Allen Dykens
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Perry Dykens passed away peacefully on Monday, July 15th 2019 at the age of 57 from heart complications.
Those left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life include his loving children and their spouses, Frank DeBruyn (Shane), and Amelia Dykens (Brett); his parents Lynda and Lester Dykens; many siblings, relatives, and friends.
Perry’s passion and enjoyment were Native Beadwork and woodwork. Family time included many barbeques and/or roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over a fire. Perry also enjoyed music and working on a farm.
He was deeply loved by his family and will be dearly missed. If family and friends so desire, memorial tributes can be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (#200, 119-14th St N.W., Calgary AB, T2N 1Z6). A private event will be held to celebrate Perry’s life.
