Obituary of Andy Scott

On Sunday, November 10, 2019, Andy Scott longtime resident of Strathmore, passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sister, Isla Hagen; numerous nieces and nephews; other extended family and many close friends.

Andy was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Andy Sr. as well as two sisters, Kay Day and Margaret Christensen.

Andy had been a long standing entrepreneur and business owner over the years, and had many ties to both the community and the service clubs within.

Andy’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the Strathmore hospital staff as well as his caretakers at Cozy Nest / Peter and Helene for always being there to ensure his comfort over the last difficult part of his journey.

As per Andy's wishes, a cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 28th, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Strathmore Legion 230-2nd Avenue, Strathmore.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Andy's memory may be made to the Strathmore Legion Branch #10 or the Wheatland & Area Hospice Society (wheatlandhospice.ca).
